Primate Group Housing Systems
Our group housing system is unique in that it allows the cage to be expanded from single units to multi-units without having to contact the animal. The NextGen Primate Group Housing System meets USDA and EU housing standards, with ability to increase as many times as needed. Each cage can be joined side-by-side with other caging to form multiple lengths of caging.
Each cage comes equipped with sliding panels that consist of: wire mesh, clear Lexan and solid opaque. Open frames will allow the animals to move freely from cage to cage when the panels are removed. The group housing unit is capable of housing up to six group 3 animals, or up to four group 4 animals.
An optional transfer box is available. This transfer box comes equipped with a sliding door on the front and guillotine door on the rear, designed to stay attached to the main caging unit as an enrichment porch. The cage frame is constructed with 304 stainless steel.
